Pornopoetica is a research on the border and on the possibility of trespassing.
The porous boundary of matter, between human and non-human, organic and inorganic.
The sinuous boundary of pleasure, which is sought and re-signified with every experience.
Pornopoetica is a trans research, which carries out a process of dis-identification of genres, languages, disciplines and categories.
Born as a study of erotic and pornographic language, gender codes and stereotypes, the research a first focused on the creation of new imaginaries related to sexuality: especially on the visual deconstruction of the body boundary, through what we have called the aesthetic principle of the indefinite.
Presence of the body and impermanence of vision.
Over the years, in particular since the launch of the Pleasure rocks project, which placed us in direct relationship with the matter of stones and minerals, the research has then taken unexpected directions, moving away from the anthropocentric center of gravity to intertwine ever more deeply with the philosophical theories of posthumanism and neo-materialism, in particular by Rosi Braidotti, Karen Barad and Donna Haraway.
